The Office of the President, the Ministry of Public Service and the Civil Service College, in partnership with Chandler Institute of Governance (CIG), officially launched the inaugural Public Service Leadership Excellence Programme. Performance Enhancement Training for Staff of Namisindwa District Local Government between 24th and 26th March 2025 The Minister of State for Public Service Hon. Grace Mary Mugasa, inaugurated the Public Service Research Committee of the Ministry of Public Service at NARC. The Committee comprises of experienced technical officers from different MDAs and is tasked to research on good applicable policies supported by evidence aimed at mitigating challenges so as to improve Service delivery Hon. Margaret Muhanga State Minister, officiated at the closure of a three- days induction training conducted by Civil Service College team to newly recruited Health Service commission members at NARC. This training was to expose participants to all strategic and operational aspects of their mandate, from constitutional and legal instruments to performance management, sector relationship and state holders engagement Strategic Leadership and Management Training for the Chief Administrative Officers and Town Clerks which commenced on 1st to 15th April, 2025 at National Leadership Institute Kyankwanzi. His Excellency the President of Uganda, General Yoweri Kaguta Museveni wth the participants during a courtesy visit. Induction and Pre - Retirement training for Staff of Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital which commenced on 14th and ended on 17th April 2025 at Mbarara RRH. The Induction Training for Staff of Kasese District Local Government from 25th to 27th June, 2025 at Kasese Multi-purpose Hall. The Induction Training for Staff of Rukungiri Municipal Council from 23rd to 25th June, 2025 at New Palm Hotel Rukungiri.
