Mark Sseremba

Mark Sseremba is a Human Resource and Public Administration professional currently deployed as a Commissioner at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs where he is entrusted with oversight for the human resource management function for the Ministry. Prior to this he was engaged in operationalizing the employee relations function in the Public Service. He continues to support the Civil Service College in development, implementation and follow up of learning and development programmes to enhance the capacity of public officers to deliver services competently.

In a period spanning over thirteen (13) years, Mark has attained extensive relevant experience in Human Resource Management especially in the Public Sector.

Mark started his career in the Public Service as Assistant Chief Administrative Officer (2001–2005) Masaka District Local Government, Principal Personnel Officer 2005-2011 Masaka District Local Government, Assistant Commissioner, Human Resource Development (2011 to 2014).

Mark has vast experience in Human Resource Management, Performance Management, Organizational Development, Training and Consultancy gained in the past ten years. He has been involved in several consultancy activities in the area of strategic planning, performance management, organizational assessment, development planning, and development of competency profiles and review of policy documents.

Mark Sseremba holds a tailor-made Executive Masters degree in Business Administration from ESAMI, Masters degree in Social Sector Planning and Management from Makerere University, Postgraduate Diplomas in Public Administration and Management, and Organizational Development both obtained from Uganda Management Institute; a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Work and Social Administration of Makerere University. He holds a Training of Trainers certificate, Mentoring certificate and an Administrative Officers Certificate. He has undergone several performance improvement courses during his career.
