Ronnie K. Mbabaali

Ronnie has 22 years practical working experience in Administration, Human Resource Management and Development as well as Monitoring and Evaluation and has in the Public, Private and Non-Governmental Sectors in Uganda, East Africa and the IGAD Region. Specifically, Ronnie has worked with i). The public sector: in Central Government (2015-date) and the decentralization sector in Mpigi and Mityana District Local Governments (2000-2006 and 2006-2015) and the UNDP/IGAD/Government of South Sudan (2011-2013). He has also worked as an institutional capacity building expert, Independent Procurement and Value for Money consultant audit as well as member and Filed Team leader during the annual assessment of Local Government Authorities under the Local Council Development Grant and Programme in the United Republic of Tanzania since 2008. ii). Non-Government Sector including having been a Technical Adviser for Nkozi AIDS Project in Mpigi District (2002 to 2006) and an active contributor as well as a Senior Consultant at the Uganda Project Management and Implementation Center (UPIMAC) a national NGO in Uganda (since 2005) and board member (since 2020) and, iii). Also three years in the private sector – telecommunication customer service management (1997 to 2000) before joining the public sector.

His education and training qualifications are in Project Monitoring and Evaluation, Human Resource Management, Administrative Law, Sociology and Social Administration.

 

He is a certified trainer in: Gender and Equity Budgeting; Planning and Budgeting for Gender Based Violence; Mainstreaming HIV/AIDS in Workplaces; Counseling and Guidance for Staff; Mentoring for Local Governments; Public Procurement and Disposal of Assets; Decentralization and Local Governance and Training of Trainers.

Ronnie is also a certified facilitator in Organisational Learning and Development (EASUN 2020-2021).
