During the past 37 years as a teacher and education administrator, Ms. Atim has led and participated in the design of programs like INSSTEP and SESEMAT whose main goals were to enhance the learner’s involvement in education delivery. In addition to her experience as a classroom teacher, her administrative background at the Directorate of Quality Assurance in the Ministry of Education and Sports, at Uganda National Examinations Board, and as a long time head teacher at Mary hill High School , makes her stand out as a Senior Citizen of quality.

She holds a Bachelor of Science and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from Makerere University, and a Master of Education degree (Educational Administration and Planning) from Mbarara University of Science and Technology.  She has attended conferences on Education Planning, Administration and Pedagogy, participating as an invited speaker at a number of them.  She has served as a classroom teacher at Mt.
