Catherine Bitarakwate Musingwiire(Mrs), PS – MoPS, gave Closing Remarks.
Ms. Robinah Nabbanja, Rt. Hon. Prime Minister and Leader of Government Business, gave a special address on leadership skills and time management
Ms. Lucy Nakyobe, Head of Public Service, gave Opening Remarks and officially opened the training.

Ms. Savia Mugwanya, C/CSCU, gave opening and closing remarks.

Mr. Bua Victor, C/HRM-Compensation, took participants through “Transformative Leadership”, “Strategic Human Resource Management” and “Planning for Retirement”.

Mr. Enyomu Richard, C/HRM – MOES, took participants through “Discipline and Grevance handling”.
Mr. Katushabe Winstone, Com / Transport Regulation and safety/Chief Licencing Officer – MoWT, took participants through, “Accelerating a culture of innovation in the Public Service”.
Mr. Robert Ssaka, Project Manager – HCM/MoPS, took participants through “Business Process Re-engineering”.
Mr. David Okwii, PE – MoFPED, took participants through “Public Finance Management Reforms and their implication for Local Governments”.
Mr. Robert Kamukama, Director Quality Assurance and Audit Development – OAG, took participants through “Financial Management Controls and Financial Reporting”.
Mr. Muhanguzi Obadiah, SPO – MEACA, took participants through “Sustainable Public Procurement” and “Disposal of Public Assets”.
Mr. Peter Hillary Kaujju, Head of Communications – Umeme Ltd, took participants through “Public Relations and Client Care”.
Mr. Aggrey Kibenge, PS – MoGLSD, took participants through “Effective Communication” and “Managing Media Relations”.
Rev. Prof. Dr. Samuel Luboga Abimerech, Chairperson – ESC, took participants through “Practical Strategies for promoting ethical behaviour and code of conduct in Public Service”.
Major General Matsiko Henry, Joint Staff Political Commissar of UPDF, took participants through “Philosophical Foundations of Patriotism”.
CPA. James Onying Penywii, Director, Research, Education and Advocacy – Office of Inspectorate of Government, took participants through “Institutional Framework for fighting Corruption”.
Mr. Mundua Patrick, AC/ICT – MoPS, took participants through “ICT as an enabler of Public Service Transformation”.
Mr. Julius Kapwepwe Mishambi, Technical Advisor – PDM, took participants through “Local Economic Development” and “Parish Development Model: Implications for Local Government Leadership”.
Mr. Kyukyu Robert, Manager Strategy – KCCA, took participants through “Smart Cities”.
Col. Emmy Katabazi, Deputy Director General – Internal Security Organisation, took participants through “Safeguarding Security in Local Governments”.
Ms. Assumpta Tibamwenda, Technical Advisor on Local Economic Development – MoLG, took participants through “Sustainability and Resource Mobilization Culture”.
Ms. Jane Mwesiga, Deputy Head of Public Service – OPM, took participants through “Leveraging Partnerships and Collaboration”.
Dr. Victoria Ndyanabangi, Medical Officer – Mulago NRRH, took participants through “Staff Wellness”.
Prof. Lazarus Nabaho, Senior Consultant – UMI, took participants through “Effective Management of Meetings”.
Lt. Col (Rtd) Kibrai Ambako, Senior Presidential Advisor – M/OP, took participants through “Strengthening the Relationship between Resident District/City Commissioners and Accounting Officers of Local Governments/Cities.
Mr. Frank Musingwiire, Deputy Secretary – Public Service Commission, took participants through “Legal issues in managing Human Resources in Local Governments”
Amb. Phillip Idro, Technical Consultant, took participants through “Wealth Creation”
Dr. Theopista Mary Wenene, Deputy Head of Public Service/ Deputy Secretary to Cabinet – OP, toook participants through “The whole of government approach”.
Mr. Atama Gabriel, CAO – Tororo District, gave closing remarks on behalf of the participants.
Mr. Ben Kumumanya, PS – MoLG, gave closing remarks on behalf of the Minister of Local Government and officially closed the training.
