Lillian Ariso is a records and archives professional with more than 20 years’ experience as records professional in the Public Service and has attained records and archives management advisory skills. She is an experienced trainer involved in national and international records management workshops. Currently she is the Commissioner of Records and Information Management at the Ministry of Public Service and is Task Manager for the construction of the National Records Centre and Archives.

 

She holds a Master’s Degree in Records Management and Archives Administration of University College London, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Library and Information Science of Makerere University. In addition, she has attended skills enhancement courses in records and archives management and obtained certificates. She has also had study attachments in the National Archives of Kenya, United Kingdom and Sweden for hands on experience in archives administration.
